Decartelizing Nigeria

What if it were General Patreus who bunkered oil meant
for the US Christmas Lights? What if it was General
Odierno who stashed ten thousand extra barrels of
crude into a ship's hull then pocketed the money
every now and again? The so-called "will" to fight
corruption in Nigeria begins at the top and thus
far it does not seem to truly exist. What exists,
nevertheless, is a standard because of which
each time corruption is revealed in the Nigerian
military hierarchy, the comparison is made with
the United States resulting in a slow but binding
realization amongst Western Nations that the Nigerian
man tolerates corruption and thus Nigeria is made of
corrupt men.
