Where Things Stand

Since that day in 1999 with the thunder, when,
and for whatever reason, I believed I was
taking part in the "Olympics of the Mind"
(in truth I was dialoging with a US Admiral),
and the subsequent "gold medal ceremonies"
when I walked "the streets of gold" at the
ACTUAL end of a rainbow in 2000, I've been
working backwards. God exists, and I personally
have a heavenly father who once also lived
on earth. For me he was known as King Shango
and after the necessary study, I can say that
my destiny is to prove "to at least one other"
that it is quite feasible, "if at all possible (his words)"
that I am his blood descendant.

That was before I picked up the Bible.

Now?

Hmm....

For me, the Bible is ABOUT Jesus Christ and is
anchored, in its most relevant context, in the
fourth chapter of Malachi which foretells in
precision what THEN will happen on the great
day of judgment when the most relevant aggregate
sin is judged that ostensibly unleashes all the
prophesies in the bible. This most relevant
aggregate sin of mankind is Fathers ignoring
whatever truths their Sons teach in value to
the culture where traditions have corrupted
the morals of men. Principally, I am
philosophical and religious about the apriority
of morality and the implications of a world
where this apriority remains, at best,
an importunate reminder of adult responsibility
as opposed to a foundational characteristic
of the well formed human being.

My traditions in Africa, by many analyses,
are my identity. By the gift of my Heavenly
Father, Shango, I am able to read Ancient
Yoruba and so am gifted with a particular
insight into the religion of Ifa that is
hard to come by. And so, the story ABOUT
Jesus Christ is very relevant, for my fathers,
with a legacy in Egypt that all can see,
are toying with the disaster of all disasters,
ignoring the light of truth when the black
man needs it most. It still flows, Admiral,
through these.. here fingers...
