Pope Benedict:
I make a living as a Computational Linguist,
something I thrive very much in doing. I enjoy
the work and the knowledge is enriching. By
the Grace afforded me by God, my heavenly father,
my situation is positive and I wake up every morning
looking forward. I am thus totally unconcerned
about my ABILITY to make a living with this
vocation, since it is what I love to do
and since I am the best at it. I was saddened,
therefore, at those who proposed a "change"
and only, it seemed clear, because my success
would prove them wrong. What kind of ugly
man is that? Mr. Munoz? Ratzinger, we will
speak extensively concerning the choices I made,
after all they are central to the narrative of our
humanity in the eternal story of good and evil,
but as time compounds the weight of the responsibility
of failure begins to exceed the abilities of
those who live in a fantasy to bear the weight
of their responsibilities. My friends say,
and I cannot argue, that "the African Man"
has not demonstrated a true knowledge of
value or the concept of its implications.
Mr. Obama protests, but despite his attendant
actions it seems clear to me that no time
soon shall we see Africa rise, for this one
peculiar trait that seems by now pathological:
that, amongst the Africans, it is the one
who knows how to solve the problem whose
solution shall NOT be used. Such a people,
it is true, created their own hell. Now
they ask their children to suffer in it.
I accept Jerusalem, sir, as the eternal
indivisible capital of Israel, a posture
which now makes peace in the middle east
an adventure which shall not occur so
long as this administration does not
enlighten those in the dark "as concerns"
the utility of the mind of one whose
intelligence, sir, causes God to speak
on earth.
