To the extent that teaching Christianity in an illogical
way contributes to the power of the wicked one, the
point of relevance in Christianity concerns HOW
to obey the first commandment, Love God. If one obeys
this commandment, then one truly is of God. The KJV
says in 1 John:
[1] Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
[2] By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
[3] For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
SINCE
God's commandments include the Law of Moses
THEN (at the risk of irreverent humor) the
commandments which are "not grievous" are
any and all commandments of God found in
the bible BUT interpreted through the teaching
of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
THIS... is the focal point of logical Christianity.
Please, sir... what I would prefer is either a list
of all commandments Jesus teaches about, or better
literature on how to be the Christ in any and ALL
situations that I might always follow the two
greatest commandments.
