Our... scroll here asks, immediately:
"What does the Bible REALLY Teach?"
The answer I give is, immediately, an attempt
to be as truthful as the wisdom of my youth
will allow. Since I have neither secrets nor
fears, then brethren be comforted by the
revelation that the Bible is ABOUT Jesus
Christ. Immediately we then argue, does
the question
"Who is Jesus Christ?"
supercede the question
"What does the Bible REALLY Teach?"
Now at this juncture in our argument...
"or infinitely?"
To the extent that the inspired word of
God is threaded through the ranks of angels,
then the Arch Angel Gabriel is through whom
Islam takes its perfect context. Perhaps then,
I suggest, that the perfect context for
Christianity, and thus the bible, is rooted for
the Kingdom Hall of God's Presence in the Arch
Angel Michael, through whom peace assures my speech
and thus your peace of mind.
"ahem..."
(a baby wails...
Seeing as Michael is my friend and your friend,
let us ask about Gabriel. Who is he and why
is he important? Gabriel is mentioned in the
Bible in the book of Luke:
[14] And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
[15] And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
[16] And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
[17] So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
The Mormons stick, in this regard, to the book of
James which says, principally, in their belief system:
5] If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
SINCE we are asking "WHAT" the bible teaches,
and NOT
"WHO" is Jesus Christ,
(my argument smiles)
THEN
WISDOM is the relevant context.
The Bible Teaches THAT..
therefore the Bible REALLY teaches THAT...
but...
The Bible REALLY teaches THAT "what?"
Since the Bible is ABOUT Jesus Christ
THEN
"pertaining to the Question you asked...
The Bible REALLY teaches THAT once lived a man named Jesus.
Do you agree?
