Araba:
It has been an enjoyable discussion. But all good
things must come to an and.
"But then again....
Sir, on this one issue I am resolved: That since
Professor Akiwowo's people chose to ignore my value
and talent at the most critical moment, they continue
to do so. I will display great irritation should
they, NOW, want to be a part of the celebration that
is me that has consumed the Yoruba world in the diaspora.
The creation of the spirit of Oranmiyan, granted legitimacy
the way it was in the presence of the most skeptical and
diligent witnesses, has pleased even the likes of the Awo
in Cuba, Mr. Castro, who professes, now, that we resolve
the issue of slavery in Yorubaland if we are to move forward.
This issue, of slavery, sir, MUST be solved without Professor
Akiwowo and his people, for if they are involved it will not
be resolved. I have some music for you from Cuba, Yemoja
music (Yemanja she is called there) that you should enjoy
tremendously. I find no guilt in you and will, from time
to time, reach out to bless you with the gifts Olodumare
has blessed his son with. Alas, as a function of consequence,
any attempt to bring the aforementioned families into the
sacred space where Oranmiyan is now globally celebrated
may result, Your Eminence, in war and bloodshed. May the
light of Olodumare continue to guide your way and the way
of the Ooni.
