A student pointed out to the Prince,
"The meaning of to love God," the Bible says, "is
to obey his commandments."
"But carrying two turtle doves to the Kingdom Hall does
not inspire love in me, and God is love."
The point is here, elders, witnesses and gentlemen.
The FUNDAMENTAL PREREQUISITE for walking with God, guided
by the Spirit of God, is instructively conveyed THROUGH
Jesus Christ. In its highest form the directive is to
Love God above all things. The attentive seeker WANTS
to know, HOW.. HOW do I Love God? If you quote a scripture
but not its entirety, thus suggesting that "obeying the
commandments of God" without directing those commandments
through the highest witness of I, Jesus, then you are not
guiding the student in the light of God shone through
our highest self, the first born of all Creation...who
is rumored to actually have visited earth... that must have
been an intriguing time... ;-)
In any case, the highest intellectual dialectic made
apparent by questioning HOW to obey the most relevant
commandment, i.e. Love God (by obeying his commandments)
regards through WHOM the Commandments of God found
in the Bible should be interpreted. Clearly, given
the book of Revelation, I, Jesus. It would then
have its implications concerning all else said to have
been inspired of God, including, recursively enough...
though naturally so in my field... the synoptic gospels
of the Christ.
