The Source of State Power

In America, the use of power is legitimized
by any and all virtues associated with "God"
and so we say that, in America, all power
is derived from God. Legitimacy is the fulcrum
upon which American power is balanced. This
legitimacy is granted upon association with the
higher and nobler ideals of a shared commonality.
How it translated into the bombing of Tripoli,
as with so many things, one cannot exactly say.
But one can say this: That for us, in America, God
is real and God rules.
