People who look at my current resume (in MS Word format) often want to know one thing only, what was it like interning at NASA. Well, here's a couple of experiences so that you know what it's like to work CMMi5.
i. On the day of my interview, being bored, I decided that I was going to leave and not interview. How Jackie, the "headmistress" of civil intelligence knew, is a mystery. She immediately sounded the alarm.
ii. I got the job, because it WAS a major emergency and no one else was qualified. NASA wanted to know of they could trust Microsoft because only ONE of her sub units was using MSoft software, so I was sent to a fellow by the name of David Cutler whose office was "on the hill" who supposedly was a superstar of operating systems. It is when I knew what life was. This fellow launched a space shuttle with WINDOWS NT 4.0!!!!!! And not 1 error!!! it is when I understood...
iii. On the first day, my boss, affectionately known as A-Rod, informed me that "the hill" was a "high tension facility" and that anything fit "jump off" at any time. I didn't understand till lunch... when one employee had a ... fit of sorts... a nervous breakdown.. it is when I understood... (we were told to lock the front door)...
iv. On the day I quit, my boss asked me if I wanted to join Al Kaeda, I asked if he was crazy... then he said that he forgot that he worked for the FBI... I was just looking at him...
v. The Head of Cameroonian Intelligence, Suleiman Biya... is a very interesting man... very interesting...
vi. For those who don't believe there is no glass ceiling in america, on the day I quit, to dissuade me both the Microsoft Interest and the Alitalia interest offered me the position as temporary head of Information Systems (until T. Hutchins got back from vacation... the worst time for him to be away... they thought that I had "jumped off"... I was escorted home by several blind people... the SS use them to decipher danger signals...
vi. Even though I quit on Thursday I was obliged to keep working t ill Friday midnight, CMMi style... and we did do it... I took that sub unit to space... using WINDOWS!!!!!
