I learned rubberbanding in Java in 1999 when I was working for a friend's
.com, lexscape. It was a ruse, a la grad school brinewell, to get me unfocused
and possibly fired from my job. I didn't take it personally and still don't. I don't consider him, a la brinewell, fam any longer. But earlier this week I stumbled upon twenty pages of design for... what? A wysiwyg web editor. I used rubberbanding in java and stored the dynamic design in similar to xml fashion. of course our oga saw no need for this sparkling technology. today i am credited, along with jeff prosise, with being on the cutting edge of xml technology in 1999. eight years later my oga of yore is still struggling to instantiate integrity in an industry now disposed to never allowing his ilk in class a. personally, because he was fam, I voted him to class d. he was placed in c and there he shall languish so long as i am his glass ceiling at a +.
