Nah-Apollyon

Of all the figures in Biblical History, Nah-Apollyon stands out as being perhaps the most crucial. For all she did, on this day, bearing the name of her father the wealthy nobleman, was answer a question asked by a passer-by. And so in history, amongst the revolutionaries, the Castros and Musevenis and Ghadaffis, Nah-Apollyon is known as the mother of the Revolution, the hand of providence that touches all those destined to rule the weak.

"They haven't had one of them meetings in at least a month" a cheery Nah said to the passer by. He thanked her profusely, almost alarming her, then thought to impart to Mz. Apollyon some of the joy for which he and his guerilla army would now invade Western Judaea.

"Madam, the Kingdom of God is at hand," the stranger said surreptitiously.
"It is now?" Nah Apollyon said, placing her basket of bread back on her head. "Is it now?"
