Jesus the Healer

Fear governs much of the human psyche. So, choosing the path of least resistance, many will subscribe to religious mores to assist promulgate their conception of morality as it relates to their deeper fears. Outside of that we have us, who here dialog. Why is Jesus important to us? He is not important to me in the way he is imnportant to two billion christians. In my version of christianity I found a way for Jesus to exist, for all his miracles to be real at the possible levels of allegory and metaphor. What opened up to me afterwards was the Kingdom of Heaven where mighty poets declaim. I am of them. I love it. Nothing occultic there. But in these, our darkest hours, it takes on a mythical importance. I enjoy the Kingdom with great tremendousness.
