The Africans
I don't know why the argument is never made with honesty. When you live in a country like Nigeria, as I did, by your teens you begin to very viscerally grow a disdain for the level of immaturity of the adults in the nation. It is startling how child-like and naive many Nigerian adults are, and they were molded this way by colonialism--that is, it is a recent phenomenon, and this is demonstrable. African culture in that area is dictated by lore and old wise people. Pretended subservience is a cultural norm, the whispers away from the elder giving the innate African wit that the spirits love. But with the British administering, this "subservience" gave way to a spirit of dependency which, in some logical manner, translates to immaturity at very old ages. I am very clear that my allegiances have shifted. So long as Nigerian men continue push the envelope, they risk true natural war. If you dare to know what that means.
